Basic understanding of the IT/Telco industry. A general understanding of business strategies, products and services and client groups companywide.
Strong understanding of human resources management concepts and systems. Working knowledge of company Human Resources policies, initiatives, products, and services.
Well versed with employment legislations. Strong communication skills; oral and written. Ability to work with all levels of the organization to develop and influence the organizational culture.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long term relationships building and enhancing rapport within the organization. Ability to work independently and in teams; and the ability to work with remote office locations. Strong presentation, facilitation and consultation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple issues and to change priorities quickly. Flexible.

A strong understanding of motivational techniques, leadership skills and the ability to counsel others through stressful projects and situations. Basic PC skills in Microsoft office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of HRIS systems.
